Toastmasters International: The Cure for Your Professional Development Deficiencies - Part 4

Toastmasters International is a great professional development resource.

I strongly believe that it helps to cure your professional development deficiencies.

It can help you with...

DEFICIENCY #2: Avoids Making Mistakes

Toastmasters is a place where you can tell almost instantly when decisions are not being made.

Clubs lose members and shut down.

Members remain stagnant, never achieving the next (or any) speaking/leadership awards.

Districts do not achieve recognition as Distinguished, Select Distinguished, or President’s Distinguished District at year-end.

In Toastmasters, decisions must be made for progress to happen.

Problems cannot persist; otherwise, clubs would become ineffective, resulting in the dysfunction of the Toastmasters program.

Members of Toastmasters International find they must think like creative problem solvers to find solutions to the marketing, membership, or apathy problems their clubs face.

Possessing the ability to resolve problems effectively is not only required in Toastmasters, but also in other professions from engineering to law, medicine to computers, and automotive to administrative.

If it is your habit to allow problems to fester, Toastmasters will help you become a person of action.

Membership in Toastmasters International will increase your ability to solve problems in your workplace and other areas of your life as well.

Test it out to see for yourself.
