As I was going through some files this morning, I ran across an article that I had saved with advice from Dr. Norman Vincent Peale that gave insight on breaking free from a bad habit.
Since we are now twenty-three days into the new year, I thought it would be a great idea to refresh my memory on his words of wisdom and share them with you, as well.
Therefore, as you work towards keeping your New Year's Resolutions and achieving the goals you've set for yourself:
1. See yourself in a new way;
2. Seek support; and
3. Be kind to yourself.
Twenty-ten can be a better year, if you visualize yourself doing better, surround yourself with those who can encourage you, and reward yourself for what you accomplish instead of being immobilized by your setbacks.
