Over the weekend, I had a chance to serve as a featured speaker for the PWN National Book Tour and Women's Conference in Louisville, KY on Saturday, May 16. That's me in the photo on the far right along with the conference visionary team, planning committee, and featured speakers.
There were 85 attendees at the event and several of them found the event to be life changing.
I spoke on the topic "You Are What You Think! Overcoming Negativism" where I gave the attendees information on what the mind is and how it works along with explanations of what thought, thinking, and negativism are all about. In addition, I shared with them five practical P.O.W.E.R. strategies to help them avoid and overcome negativism in their lives.
The other featured speakers spoke on such topics as: "The Power of Change: Building Self-Worth;" "Charting Your Map! Living the Life of Your Dreams;" "The Superwoman Syndrome: Living a More Simple Life;" "Leaders of Today & Tomorrow: Empowerment Strategies;" and "Self-Marketing: Personal Brand & Image."
With the educational sessions, networking opportunities, and author book signings, everyone in the room was able to walk away with nuggets of information to help them transform their lives.
I'm honored to have been a part of such a divinely inspired event. Not only was I able to use "Divine Inspiration Vocally Applied" to make a difference in the lives of those attending as I taught my session, yet, I was also able to walk away with information that will make a difference in my life personally, professionally, and spiritually.
This kickoff event to the PWN National Book Tour and Women's Empowerment Conference was truly a life changing event for all who was fortunate enough to attend.
I'm glad I was there.
P.S. Don't miss your opportunity to see me present for the PWN National Book Tour and Women's Empowerment Conference on Saturday, September 12, 2009 in Los Angeles, CA. To register for the event, visit www.pwnbooks.com.
