Mosley's Retreat Boot Camp Retreat 2009

Staying healthy physically, mentally, and spiritually has been my personal quest since 2000. Not only do I work hard at living by more healthy standards, I also educate and empower others to do the same. That is why I am excited about serving as keynote speaker for the Mosley's Retreat Boot Camp Retreat 2009 on Friday, June 26 - Sunday, June 28 in Fenwick, MI.

A program designed to help you build a strong mind, body and soul and to get you in shape to go through these challenging economic times, the Boot Camp Retreat 2009 will feature intense physical workouts in the morning, self-development workshops in the afternoon, nutritious foods and total privacy and relaxation all weekend long.

The cost to attend the Mosley's Retreat Boot Camp Retreat 2009 is $325 per person. There is a 10 person limit. Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required.

What Women Don't Know Could Kill Them

Have you ever heard of IBC? How about Inflammatory Breast Cancer? No, well neither did I.

Over the weekend, while hanging out with members of my ministry, and mentioning my experience of getting my first mammogram, I learned of something new - Inflammatory Breast Cancer.

From what I understand, this is a new form of breast cancer that most women or even breast cancer resources don't know much about.

The symptoms appear to be more of a rash or bug bites instead of a lump as associated with common breast cancer.

As I mentioned to my ministry members, it is now even more important for women to know their breasts and to do self-exams every month. That way, if you find a lump or a rash on the breast, you can seek immediate medical attention.

If IBC or Inflammatory Breast Cancer is new to you, check out the following resources to get more information:

As the saying goes, "you learn something new everyday." I am grateful for the conversation shared with the women of my ministry and I am so grateful to learn of IBC.

This new knowledge does not send me into a panic; however, it does make me realize how much more aware of me and my body I need to be.

I pray that this information I shared with you will also make you realize the same.

Jay Leno Does a FREE Show

One of the most heart warming films I've ever seen was "Pay It Forward." Whenever I "accidentally" run across it on TV, I sit back and enjoy the message of the film. I even added it to my collection of films last year.

Since then, I've become a lot more aware of people paying it forward in their own lives. Take Jay Leno for instance. I just saw him announce on "The View" that he will be doing a FREE show in Detroit on April 7.

Jay Leno says that he decided to do something to help others as President Obama says that this time in our economic history is calling all of us to do.

Jay mentioned that he felt he had no other talents besides his talent as a comedian, so he decided to use it to put together a FREE show. For those who need a comic release and want to escape the dreariness of the moment, they can come out and enjoy a free night of entertainment.

I thank Jay Leno and President Barack Obama for reminding me to "pay it forward," especially during this time.

Now, let me sign off so that I can, as Jay did, figure out what I can do...

FedEx Does a Good Thing

As I was browsing through e-mails today, I ran across a story regarding FedEx Office.

With all of the bad news regarding the economy and companies laying off employees, I must admit that I was a little shocked, yet very pleased to hear that FedEx Office will offer free resume copies to anyone who needs them.

On March 10, all FedEx Office stores will provide 25 free copies of your resume whether you are out of a job or still have a job - the copies will be provided to anyone who needs them.

Check out the article at http://blogs.moneycentral.msn.com/smartspending/archive/2009/03/06/spruce-up-your-r-233-sum-233-for-fedex-s-free-copies-day.aspx because it gives you a few more details about this kind gesture FedEx is providing.

I'm glad to see a company offering a service that can provide a productive impact on American employees.

Thanks FedEx Office!
